How to Stop T-Mobile Junk Mail

T-Mobile lets customers manage direct-mail marketing in its Privacy Dashboard. People without an account can use a separate official form for the name and address receiving the offer.

If you are a T-Mobile customer

  1. Sign in to the T-Mobile Privacy Dashboard.
  2. Choose Update marketing preferences.
  3. Turn off marketing by direct mail.
  4. Save the preference and record the date.

T-Mobile's current marketing-preferences guide says customers can choose which marketing channels they receive, including email, phone calls, texts, and direct mail.

If you are not a T-Mobile customer

  1. Open T-Mobile's Marketing Communication Opt-Out form.
  2. Select Direct mail. Do not choose only email, phone, or text if paper mail is the problem.
  3. Enter the first name, last name, and complete postal address printed on the piece.
  4. Submit the request and keep its confirmation.

The form is also the right route when marketing reaches an address that is not shown in a customer profile. It accepts a unit or suite, city, state, and ZIP code so T-Mobile can match the mailing record.

Allow up to ten business days

T-Mobile asks people to allow up to ten business days for offers to stop after a marketing preference is submitted. Mail already printed or released for delivery may still arrive during that period.

Keep one original piece until the window passes. If another named offer arrives later, compare its recipient spelling, unit number, and address format with the information used in the request.

What the preference does not stop

T-Mobile says customers will still receive necessary account information, invoices, customer-service messages, and transactional notices. Those are not marketing mail. Review them before discarding anything.

Marketing from a phone manufacturer, dealer, insurance company, or another business may use a different list even when the offer mentions T-Mobile. Contact the sender named on that piece separately.

Current Resident and route-level mail

If the piece is addressed only to Current Resident or every home nearby received the same offer, there may be no named T-Mobile customer record to remove. Submit the exact address through the noncustomer form first. If route-level delivery continues, read our Current Resident mail guide before repeating the same request.

Where Junk Mail Magic fits

Use T-Mobile's official preference routes when the sender is clear. For an unfamiliar paper offer, photograph one mailer so Junk Mail Magic can identify the company and prepare a sender-specific request. Do not submit a bill, account password, PIN, or other sensitive service information.

Have the mailer in front of you?

Photograph one piece of unwanted mail. We identify the sender and prepare the removal request. Your first request is free.
