How to Stop L.L.Bean Catalogs
For L.L.Bean catalogs, contact L.L.Bean yourself. Its catalog policy says it does not honor third-party removal requests. Use your account, customer service, or a mailed request. Business catalogs have a separate email route.
Use L.L.Bean catalog settings
- Sign in to your L.L.Bean account.
- Open Catalog Settings. Choose Update Catalog Mailing Preferences.
- Select the change you need. L.L.Bean says it can remove your name, limit catalogs, eliminate duplicates, update an address, or keep your name off shared lists.
- Save the change and note the date. Catalogs planned before the update may still reach you.

Contact L.L.Bean without an online account
Use L.L.Bean's customer-service contact page or call 1-800-441-5713. Tell the representative whether you want all catalogs stopped, fewer catalogs, duplicate removal, or no list sharing.
You can also mail a request to L.L.Bean Inc., Dept CFM, Freeport, ME 04033-0001. L.L.Bean asks mailed requests to include instructions and the catalog label showing the delivery address.
Ask for both removal and no list sharing
Stopping L.L.Bean catalogs and keeping your name off shared lists are presented as separate preferences. State both requests if you want both changes. Keep the exact mailing label until the request has had time to work.
Choose stop, reduce, or remove a duplicate
These are different changes. Ask to stop catalogs when you want none, reduce frequency when you still want occasional issues, or remove a duplicate when two labels reach the same household. For duplicates, give L.L.Bean both printed labels and say which record, if either, should remain.
Do not send the request through a third party

If the cover says L.L.Bean for Business
This is a different mailing list. The official business catalog instructions list BusinessPreferences@LLBean.com for removal. Include the business name, contact name, and number in the yellow box on the back of the catalog, exactly as printed.
L.L.Bean for Business says one or two more mailings may arrive after processing. Do not use this address as a catch-all for ordinary retail catalogs.
Email unsubscribe does not stop the paper catalog
L.L.Bean treats promotional email and catalog preferences separately in its privacy policy. Use the catalog setting for paper mail. Use the email unsubscribe link for promotional email. Transactional messages about orders and returns may continue.
If a later catalog has a different label
Compare the new piece with the label used for the first request. Another spelling, recipient, or address format may be a second record. For catalogs from other companies, use the general catalog guide.
