Handle baby-product advertising you did not request
Diaper brands, formula companies, and baby-gear retailers sometimes mail to new or expecting parents who never contacted them. You can submit a removal request for each sender whose advertising you did not ask for.
How to reduce unsolicited baby-product advertising
- Collect the advertising for a week or two before you start, so you can work through a fuller set at once.
- Look on each piece for an opt-out address, phone number, or website. Some large baby-product mailers have their own preference pages, and you can use those along with Junk Mail Magic.
- Photograph each piece separately so the mailing label and sender name are readable. Review the prepared details, sign in, and submit each photo as its own request. Keep your child's birth date and any medical information out of the photos.
- If the sender name is missing or hard to read, contact support at Junk Mail Magic support before submitting.
Where this mail may come from
Baby-product advertising can come from purchase records, loyalty programs, registry services, or list brokers. You do not have to know how a sender got your address to ask for removal. If you are not sure whether a piece is advertising or an order confirmation, look for an order number or account reference. Keep anything tied to an order.
If two parents get separate mailings
When advertising arrives under two names at one address, each person can submit their own requests. For other options, read the main junk mail guide.
Instructions for the next step
Have an unwanted advertisement ready?
Photograph one piece you are authorized to handle, with the sender and full mailing label visible. Review the details before submitting. The first request is free; the sender controls the response.
