Reduce hotel loyalty offers sent by post
Ask the hotel brand whether its loyalty program offers a postal-only promotional opt-out for your record. Say that your account access, points and reservation messages should stay unchanged. The goal is to stop printed offers only.
Ask for the narrowest change
- Find the brand name on the offer and any member tier or reference line. Do not put a full membership number in a message unless the brand's own secure channel asks for it.
- Check the brand's official instructions for managing communication preferences, and see whether postal mail is listed separately from email.
- If you cannot find a postal option, use the brand's contact route to ask whether postal-only promotional suppression exists for your loyalty record. Ask it as a question.
- Record the answer and the date, including the exact wording of any preference the brand changed.
Email and paper are separate questions
An email unsubscribe may or may not apply to paper mail, and a postal request may or may not affect email. Read the preference the brand actually describes. If you want email offers to continue, say so in your request. Some offers come from a partner company instead of the hotel. If the fine print names another company, ask that company about its own mail.

When another offer arrives
Compare the sender on the new piece with your notes. If the hotel mailed it after confirming a change, quote that confirmation and its date when you contact the brand again. If a partner mailed it, send that partner its own request.
