Stop fitness-club promotional mail without account changes
Ask the club to stop promotional postcards and flyers, and say in the same message that you are not asking for any change to your membership. If you also want to cancel, that is a separate step under the club's own terms.
Ask for the postcards only
- Note the club name, the location and the name and address on the postcard. A chain may run several sites under one brand.
- Ask the club, through its official site or front desk, where postal marketing preferences are handled.
- Request that promotional postcards and flyers stop, and state that dues, billing and contract terms should stay as they are.
- Ask the club to confirm whether this request affects any account or policy notices it mails.
If you are also leaving the club
Cancel through the club's own cancellation process and follow its terms. A mail request should not stand in for cancellation. After the membership ends, you can send a separate promotions request that gives the date your membership ended.
If a postcard comes from a company other than the club you wrote to, such as a partner offer, contact that company as its own sender.

Next step
If you are keeping the membership, send only the promotions request below. If you are leaving, finish cancellation first, then adapt the request by replacing the membership line with the date your membership ended.
