Find the current ACT Recruit Me opt-out route
ACT Recruit Me is the current name of the voluntary program formerly called EOS. ACT has an opt-out form on its site. If the student registered with more than one physical or email address, ACT asks for each address to be submitted. List every address before you fill in the form.
List the addresses, then use ACT's form
- Type act.org into your browser and open ACT's page on opting out of ACT Recruit Me. Do not use a link printed in a mailer.
- With the student, list every physical and email address used in ACT registration, such as a former home address or a parent's email.
- Submit the form for each address, following the fields and instructions ACT currently shows.
- Record the date each address was submitted.
What the form covers
If a student registered under both a personal email and a parent's email, both addresses need to go on the form. The opt-out applies to ACT Recruit Me only. It does not cancel tests, school applications or score reports. Do not expect it to remove the student from lists that other organizations already hold. College Board Student Search is a separate voluntary program with its own instructions.

Check later brochures against the list
When a brochure arrives, see which address it was sent to. If you left that address off the form, submit the form again for that address. If you already submitted it, write to that school's admissions office directly and ask it to stop recruitment mail.
