How to Stop Williams Sonoma Catalogs

Williams Sonoma has a catalog-preference form with a full unsubscribe option. Choose that option if you want no paper catalogs, rather than monthly or seasonal delivery.

Choose no catalogs on the mailing-options form

Open Williams Sonoma's Catalog Mailing Options. Select “Unsubscribe from all catalog mailings.” The other choices allow up to one catalog a month or one a season, so neither is a full opt-out.

The form asks for the name and address as printed on the catalog. It also has fields for an email address and confirmation. Enter the delivery details from the piece you want to stop, including the apartment or unit line, rather than relying on an address saved in your browser.

Find the customer code on the back

The mailing-options page describes the customer number as a nine-digit code highlighted in blue on the back of the catalog. Enter it without the dashes if you use that field.

Keep the whole label visible while completing the request. A promotional code inside the catalog is not necessarily the customer code. If the number is missing or unreadable, do not guess one. Use the support route below to explain which catalog arrived and ask the agent how to locate its mailing record.

If the page does not show the form

Williams Sonoma lists 1-877-812-6235 for catalog issues, including duplicate copies. Use that number if the mailing choices do not appear, a submission fails, or the form gives no confirmation.

Say that you want to stop paper catalogs at the printed name and address, not request another catalog. Ask what was changed and keep the date and any reference number. Reaching the page is not the same as submitting a request, and a submission receipt is not proof that the next mailing has been stopped.

Deal with two copies at the same address

Put the labels beside each other before contacting support. Compare the recipient name, unit number and customer code. Tell the agent whether you want one copy or no copies, and ask which records the change covers.

A request for your own label should not require you to sign into another household member's account. For mail addressed to someone who moved out, use the previous-resident guide rather than pretending to be that person.

Keep other brands and channels separate

An email unsubscribe is a different action from a paper-catalog request. Likewise, do not assume a Williams Sonoma confirmation covers a Pottery Barn catalog. Use the sender printed on each piece to choose the next request.

If another catalog arrives, compare its label with the saved one and reference your original request when following up. For several unrelated senders, the catalog request template gives you a starting point without sharing payment details or passwords.

Another catalog in the pile?

Use the Williams Sonoma options above for its catalogs. For another sender, photograph the mailing label so we can identify the company and prepare your request. Your first request is free.
