How to Stop West Elm Catalogs and Paper Mail

West Elm directs postal-marketing removal to customer service. Say paper catalogs and mailed promotions explicitly so your request is not mistaken for an email unsubscribe.

Contact West Elm about postal marketing

The West Elm FAQ directs unwanted company or selected-partner communications to customerservice@westelm.com or 888-922-4119. Its postal instruction allows six to eight weeks for the change to take effect.

Email-preferences pages and email footer links serve a different channel. If you only want the paper stopped, name that choice and say whether partner marketing is part of your request.

Use the catalog or postcard label

Keep the full address panel, including a unit number and any mailing code. Adapt this message with a subject such as “Stop West Elm postal marketing”:

Please stop West Elm paper catalogs and mailed marketing promotions for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The label reference is [reference, if present].

Please also record my preference not to receive selected-partner marketing. Please confirm which postal records and preferences were changed. This is not an order cancellation or account-deletion request.

Delete the partner sentence if you do not want that change, and remove a missing reference. Do not send a furniture invoice, card number or account password with a marketing preference request.

Do not confuse address correction with suppression

The FAQ also offers customer service for correcting a street address. Tell support whether a label is wrong, unwanted, or both. A corrected shipping address alone does not tell you that a catalog record was suppressed.

If you receive copies with different names or codes, keep each label and ask which one the team changed. For a previous resident, explain that they no longer live at the delivery address instead of claiming their shopping account.

Keep other brands and purchases separate

A West Elm request is not proof that every related retailer has changed its own mailing records. If you also receive Pottery Barn catalogs or Williams Sonoma catalogs, use those brands' published options.

Save the dated response. After the published postal window, compare any new label with the one supplied and follow up on that record. Delivery updates, returns and other purchase correspondence are not the marketing mail you are asking to stop.

Other catalogs still arriving?

Use West Elm's published contact for its paper marketing. For another sender, photograph the mailer so we can identify it and prepare a removal request. Your first request is free.
