How to Stop State Farm Junk Mail
State Farm accepts marketing opt-outs through its Do Not Solicit form, an agent, or postal mail. Its separate Do Not Share choice does not stop marketing.
State Farm's official direct-marketing FAQ says consumers can opt out of direct-mail, telephone, or email offers. The fastest published route is its Do Not Solicit form.
Use the State Farm Do Not Solicit form
- Keep one recent offer. Use the name, street address, and unit number exactly as printed.
- Open the official form. Submit a Do Not Solicit request for the marketing channel you want changed.
- Choose the correct scope. State Farm says requests can apply across its family of companies or to specific product lines or companies.
- Save the request date. Keep it with the mailing label for comparison if another offer arrives.
Do Not Share is not a mail opt-out
State Farm explicitly says its Do Not Share election limits certain information sharing but is not a marketing opt-out. Use the Do Not Solicit form when the goal is to stop postal offers.
