How to Stop GEICO Junk Mail
GEICO provides a communications opt-out form with a specific choice for marketing mail. Use that choice instead of the separate email-only option.
Start with GEICO's official Communications Opt Out form. Select Marketing mails and calls. The separate Emails choice applies to email, not paper mail.
Submit the GEICO marketing-mail opt-out
- Keep one recent GEICO offer. Preserve the recipient name and full address printed on the piece.
- Open the official form. Check that the page heading says GEICO Communications Opt Out.
- Choose Marketing mails and calls. Do not choose only Emails if the problem is postal mail.
- Enter the requested information. Match the spelling and address shown on the mailing label.
- Record the submission date. Keep it with the mailer so a later offer can be compared with the original record.
What this request covers
The GEICO page describes this as an opt-out from marketing communications and says the information entered is used to remove people from the selected mailing lists. It is not a request to cancel a policy, change billing delivery, or stop required account documents.
If another GEICO offer arrives
Compare the new recipient line with the one used in the request. A nickname, former resident, previous address, or missing apartment number can point to a separate mailing record. Submit the exact new label if the record differs.
If the piece is a prescreened insurance offer based on a credit-bureau list, also review our prescreened credit and insurance offer guide. A company-specific request and a credit-bureau prescreen opt-out address different sources.
Where Junk Mail Magic fits
Use GEICO's direct form when the brand is clear. For an insurance mailer without an obvious sender or opt-out page, photograph one piece so Junk Mail Magic can identify the company and prepare the request.
Have the mailer in front of you?
Photograph one piece of unwanted mail. We identify the sender and prepare the removal request. Your first request is free.
