How to Stop St. Jude Fundraising Mail

To stop St. Jude fundraising letters, contact Donor Services at donors@stjude.org or use the paper-mail preferences in My Supporter Account. Say whether you also want to change monthly gift statements.

Use the donor contact, not patient support

The St. Jude unsubscribe FAQ directs mail and email changes to My Supporter Account. It also lists Donor Services at 1-800-822-6344 and donors@stjude.org.

A fundraising appeal is a donor communication. You do not need to contact a hospital department, explain a medical history or provide patient records to ask about it. Start with the envelope and the recipient printed on it, even if you have never donated yourself.

Choose paper mail, not just email

The contact-preferences page separates Email and Paper Mail. It also publishes a maintenance notice with a Donor Services fallback. If your preferences do not load, use that contact rather than assuming the change was saved.

An email unsubscribe does not establish that postal appeals stopped. Ask for a reply identifying the paper-mail preference recorded for your name and address. If you have two labels with different names or apartment formats, include both privately so the team can check the right records.

Please stop postal fundraising appeals addressed to [exact name and complete address on the label]. If there are multiple matching mailing records, please check each one.

I want to keep [necessary donation receipts or other notices you want]. This request does not authorize a change to my recurring donation. Please confirm the paper-mail preference recorded.

Monthly statements are a separate decision

For Partner In Hope, the preferences page has separate Email Statements and Paper Statements choices. It says unchecking both stops monthly statements and gives a six-to-eight-week mailing-preference window.

Decide whether the unwanted piece is an appeal or a monthly statement before changing both settings. Someone who wants fewer donation requests may still want a record of their regular gifts. Describe the item to Donor Services if its purpose is unclear; do not send card details to identify a statement.

Keep a record without changing your gift

Save the date, recipient label and donor-team reply. A message received is not the same as a saved preference. If another letter arrives after the window St. Jude gives you, compare its label with the one in your request and ask whether it was prepared earlier or uses another record.

Stopping paper appeals is not donation cancellation. Handle any gift change separately with St. Jude and keep that confirmation separate too. Junk Mail Magic does not cancel charity payments. For letters from other organizations, use the charity-mail guide; one donor account cannot set every charity's preferences.

Have a different appeal to identify?

St. Jude has direct donor contacts above. For another unwanted mailer, photograph the sender and address label. Leave medical and payment records out of the photo. Your first request is free.
