How to Stop Save.com Mail
The Save mailer carries grocery circulars, coupons, and local advertising. Save.com directs removal requests through its privacy portal and says prepared mailings can continue for up to six weeks.
Start on Save.com's official Manage Mailings and Data page. Follow its Privacy Rights Request link and submit the requested information. Save says a request to delete information or opt out stops its advertising, including the Save mailer.
Remove the Save mailer
- Keep one recent mailer. Note the delivery address and any recipient wording printed on it.
- Open Save.com's mailing-preferences page. Use the Privacy Rights Request link provided there rather than an unofficial removal site.
- Complete the privacy request. Choose the applicable delete or opt-out option and provide the address details the portal requests.
- Save the confirmation. Record the submission date before closing the portal.
- Allow up to six weeks. Save says its advertising programs are prepared in advance, so mail already scheduled may still arrive.
Know what the request changes
This is broader than removing one paper bundle. Save says any delete or opt-out option on the privacy page stops its advertising, including the Save mailer. Its FAQ says the request also removes you from other Save communications.
If you only meant to stop one advertiser inside the packet, contact that advertiser separately. The Save.com request applies to the mailer as a whole.
If the mailer keeps arriving
Do not count a mailing inside the six-week window as a failed request. After six weeks, compare the delivered address with the one you submitted. Save.com notes that a mailer delivered to the wrong household may be a postal delivery error.
For a wrong-address delivery, contact the local post office. For a correctly addressed Save mailer that continues after six weeks, use the Save.com contact form and include the original request date.
What the Save.com request does not stop
The request does not cover Valpak envelopes, Spectrum promotions, political mail, prescreened credit offers, or unrelated local advertisers. Use our U.S. junk mail guide to match each piece with the correct sender or list owner.
Where Junk Mail Magic fits
Use Save.com's own route for a recognizable Save mailer. When a piece has no obvious brand or removal page, photograph it so Junk Mail Magic can identify the sender and prepare the specific request.
Have the mailer in front of you?
Photograph one piece of unwanted mail. We identify the sender and prepare the removal request. Your first request is free.
