Stop IFCJ Paper Mail and List Sharing
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews publishes Donor Relations as the contact for withdrawing communication consent. For a U.S. paper appeal, identify the full mailing label and ask specifically for no postal fundraising mail. Request list-sharing changes separately.
Contact the U.S. organization named on the appeal
The IFCJ privacy policy publishes 800-486-8844 and 303 East Wacker Drive, Suite 2300, Chicago, IL 60601. Ask Donor Relations to record your paper-mail preference and identify any separate list-sharing record.
Use the privacy contact address for this request, not a donation remittance address copied from a reply envelope. Check the organization and country on the label first. A request to the U.S. team is not confirmation that a separately maintained Canadian or other regional record changed.
Separate IFCJ appeals from future list exchanges
The policy describes withdrawing consent for communications and gives a separate choice concerning donor-list rentals or exchanges. If you want both, name both. An email unsubscribe alone does not identify the street address that is receiving envelopes.
A sharing request concerns information the organization provides to others. It cannot confirm that an unrelated charity deleted a record it already received. Keep the other sender's envelope and make a separate request to that sender if its appeals are also unwanted.
A request you can read or send
Use this as a call script or written request. Remove the sharing sentence if your only concern is IFCJ's own paper appeals. Do not include a payment-card number.
Please stop IFCJ paper fundraising and promotional mail addressed to [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The mailing label shows [donor or mailing code, if present]. Please also exclude my information from future donor-list rentals and exchanges. I am not asking to cancel a recurring gift or remove necessary donation records. Please confirm which postal and sharing preferences you recorded. Thank you.
Identify the unwanted records, not just your current profile
If the label uses an old surname, former apartment or another household member's name, include that exact version. Ask whether the team found each unwanted record. A changed current address does not establish that an older prospect record was matched.
Keep your request date and the team's reply. Ask what allowance they recommend for mail already prepared. There is no verified last-delivery deadline on this guide, and sending a request is not proof that either preference has been completed.
Keep gifts and essential records separate
A paper-mail preference is narrower than a request to delete personal information. Say that receipts, requested replies and any gift you intend to keep should remain unchanged. If you also want to change a recurring donation, address that separately through the appropriate donor service.
When another appeal arrives, compare the printed name and code with the original before following up. A photograph of the mailing label is more useful for locating a duplicate than sensitive financial documents. Do not send documents unrelated to the mailing record merely to explain why you want less paper.
Keep the name and address together
