How to Stop Gurney's Catalogs

The Gurney's catalog page mainly promotes signing up, but its To Unsubscribe section gives an email route for stopping printed catalogs. Use that instruction, not the free-catalog signup.

Find To Unsubscribe below the signup content

The official catalog page instructs readers to send a note to service@gurneys.com with first and last name, full address and account number if applicable.

Do not fill out the free-catalog request to unsubscribe. Its purpose is to add a mailing, not remove one. A digital-catalog link lets you browse online, but opening it does not suppress paper delivery.

Send the printed record, not a new signup

Use a subject such as “Stop Gurney's paper catalogs.” Adapt this note:

Please stop Gurney's catalog mailings for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. My account number is [account number, if applicable].

Please confirm the catalog preference changed. This request is for printed marketing mail, not an order cancellation.

Leave out the account-number sentence if you do not have one. Copy a number only if it is actually identified on your catalog or account; do not guess that every printed code is an account number.

If you cannot tell whether a label number is a customer reference, describe where it appears or attach a cropped label. Let customer service identify it. A household receiving two copies can provide both printed records without creating a second shopping account just to make a request.

Check the sender on each garden catalog

A similar cover or related product does not establish that one request covers another brand. Use the sender and contact printed on each piece, and keep separate confirmation records.

If two copies are addressed differently, include both labels in your note. For a previous resident, state that the person no longer lives there rather than impersonating them.

What the instruction does not promise

Gurney's catalog-unsubscribe section does not give a processing or final-delivery deadline. Keep the reply and request date without assuming paper mail stops immediately.

If another piece arrives, compare its name, address and account reference with your request. Follow up on that record, and state separately whether you also want promotional email or texts stopped.

A stack from several senders?

Gurney's has a published catalog-removal inbox. Photograph another unwanted piece to help us identify its sender and prepare a removal request. Your first request is free.
