How to Stop Filson Catalogs
Filson's privacy policy includes a catalog opt-out, but its linked catalog form currently redirects to the store homepage. Use the published customer-service contact with the paper label instead of mistaking that redirect for a completed request.
Contact customer service about the paper address
The published privacy policy lists customerservice@filson.com and 800-624-0201. Use those contacts to ask for catalog removal and help with the unavailable form.
This is Filson's general customer-service contact, not an address inferred from the word privacy. State that the problem is printed catalogs so your request does not get treated only as an email preference.
If the company restores a catalog form later, use the link in its current policy. A shopping homepage, newsletter signup or new customer account is not evidence that the catalog request was sent.
Ask about catalogs and other paper offers
The policy cautions that opting out of catalogs may still leave other mailers and flyers coming to your address. Name the types of paper advertising you want stopped rather than assuming one catalog choice covers everything.
Please stop Filson paper catalogs, promotional mailers and flyers for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The printed mailing reference is [reference, if present].
Please confirm which postal marketing lists this request covers. I want to keep order-related notices and my shopping account; this is not an account-deletion request.
If you only want catalogs stopped, remove the words about mailers and flyers. Omit the reference if the piece has no identifiable number. A short, specific request is easier to match than a general instruction to delete everything.
Do not confuse another brand with this record
The policy also mentions a Shinola catalog route. That does not tell you that a Filson request automatically updates a separate Shinola label. Identify the actual sender on each piece and ask support what its confirmation covers.
For an old surname or address variant, supply the version printed on the Filson catalog. Do not attach a full purchase history when a mailing label is enough to identify the unwanted record.
What counts as a useful confirmation?
The catalog paragraph gives no final-delivery deadline. A reply acknowledging your message is not necessarily confirmation of postal removal. Ask whether the address was suppressed and which paper-mail categories were included.
If another piece arrives, save its label and compare it with that reply before following up. A different promotional category may need clarification rather than a repeat of the same catalog-only request.
Need help with another sender?
Filson publishes a customer-service route for preference questions. For a different unwanted mailer, a photo helps us identify the sender and prepare a request. Your first request is free.
