Stop Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's Catalogs
Both Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's direct printed-catalog requests to customer service. Their online account instructions for email sales and specials are a different preference, not the paper-catalog opt-out.
Use the printed-catalog instruction
Read the official Bass Pro Shops mailing-list article or Cabela's mailing-list article. Both send printed-mail requests to the same contact page.
That customer-service page publishes customer.service@basspro.com and 800-227-7776. Tell the team which brand appears on your label.
Use customer service rather than the press or marketing contacts elsewhere on that page. Those other addresses serve different purposes.
Name the catalog and the record to remove
Please stop [Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's] printed catalogs for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The mailing reference is [reference, if present].
Please confirm the brand and postal record covered by this preference. This does not request cancellation of an order, account or CLUB card.
Replace the bracketed brand with the one on the piece. If you get both catalogs, identify both in the message and ask for confirmation of each. A shared contact route is not proof that one request updates every brand record.
Only include a mailing reference if it is printed on the catalog. Do not send a CLUB card number, account password or payment receipt to identify promotional mail.
Online email settings do not replace this request
The articles describe editing your default address in an online shopping account to uncheck email sales and specials. That step concerns promotional email. Use the separate Printed Catalogs instruction when the unwanted item is paper.
The brands say order-update emails continue after promotional-email removal. Keep your request focused on advertising so support does not have to guess whether you also want to close an account.
Allow for mail already in the schedule
Both articles say some physical mailings may take up to six weeks to stop. Treat that as their estimate, not a guarantee for every mailing record. Save the date and any customer-service confirmation.
If a catalog continues after that window, compare the brand, recipient, address and reference with your original request. A second household name or the other brand may explain why another copy is still arriving.
Another sender in your mailbox?
Use the brands' published customer-service route for these catalogs. For another company's mail, a photo helps us identify it and prepare a request. Your first request is free.
