How to Stop Feed the Children Mail
Feed the Children publishes info@feedthechildren.org and 1-800-627-4556 for communication changes. Request no postal appeals or a reduced frequency, and decide separately whether to opt out of donor-list exchanges.
Choose no paper appeals or fewer letters
Feed the Children's privacy policy describes postal-frequency changes through info@feedthechildren.org or 1-800-627-4556. It gives five to eight weeks for changes because paper mail has production lead times.
State the outcome before describing the problem. If you want no fundraising envelopes, say that. If you want fewer, ask which postal schedules support can record rather than inventing a frequency the policy does not list. Keep email and text preferences separate.
Please stop Feed the Children postal fundraising appeals for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code].
Please leave recurring donations or sponsorships unchanged and retain necessary receipts. Please confirm the postal preference recorded and the allowance for mail already prepared.
Donor-list exchanges need their own request
The policy distinguishes selling or renting lists from exchanges through nonprofit cooperatives. It says donors are included in exchanges unless they opt out, and links Your Privacy Choices for that decision, asking for full name and address.
If you also want future exchanges stopped, request that separately. Do not assume a lower postal frequency makes the same change. Ask for a reply covering both choices, then retain it alongside the original appeal.
The linked privacy page also discusses data review, correction and deletion. Choose the request you actually intend. Stopping list exchanges is not a reason to delete every donation record if you still want necessary receipts and continue supporting a program.
An Opt Out page alone is not a completed request
The policy links an Opt Out page. Its accessible public text does not expose a complete paper-mail form. If you cannot see usable controls, use the policy's published email or phone instead of assuming the page title means your address was removed.
An email unsubscribe link and a text STOP reply apply to their own channels. For paper appeals, identify the printed address in your message. A different spelling or apartment number can distinguish a second record, so include each version that keeps arriving.
Check the sender and follow-up window
The five-to-eight-week guidance is not a guaranteed last-delivery date. Save the request date and confirmation. If mail arrives beyond the allowance support gave you, provide one recent label and refer to the earlier conversation rather than sending another unexplained opt-out.
Feed the Children and Food For The Poor are different charities. Match the name on the envelope before using this contact. For the latter, use the Food For The Poor mail guide. Copying this template does not send a request, cancel a gift or confirm removal.
