How to Stop Easterseals Mail

Easterseals' national privacy policy links a Postal Mail opt-out for solicitations. List rental and exchange has its own link. Use the national policy to choose the current route, and check whether the appeal came from a local affiliate.

Open Postal Mail under Your Rights and Choices

The national privacy policy has separate entries for email, Postal Mail, List Rental and Exchange, and a disclosure request. Follow the Postal Mail link for solicitations. It leads to an external survey service linked by Easterseals, not the email-login page.

Start from that official policy rather than an old bookmarked survey link. Have the complete recipient address and any supporter code ready. The form's exact fields or access checks can change; this guide does not assume every screen is available without verification.

Please stop Easterseals postal solicitations for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The appeal identifies [national office or affiliate] and printed reference [reference, if present].

Please confirm the postal record changed. I also want to opt out of future list rental and exchange. Please treat that as a separate preference and keep any existing services and gifts unchanged.

List rental and exchange is a second request

The policy describes sharing with donor-registration and list-service providers. Its List Rental and Exchange link is distinct from the postal-solicitation link. If you want both stopped, use the appropriate route for each rather than expecting one submission to cover every choice.

A disclosure request asks about the program's practices; it is not the same as opting out. Retain the requested option and response for each task. Mail from another charity still needs its own sender check and does not prove which organization supplied your address.

The policy's commitment is to handle requests within a reasonable timeframe. It does not publish a universal last-delivery date. Compare a repeat piece with the record in your request before asking whether prepared mail or another label variation explains it.

Check national versus local affiliate mail

The policy explains that affiliated locations and organizations also have privacy notices, which can supplement the national notice or differ for particular affiliate activities. Read the envelope's full organization and return address rather than routing every Easterseals-branded piece to the same record.

If a local affiliate sent the appeal, use its current contact information to clarify the postal preference. The national contact page is a starting point for general inquiries, not proof that a national request changed every affiliate's list.

Keep email, care and account changes separate

The email entry directs registered users to email preferences and mentions the unsubscribe link in messages. That does not replace the Postal Mail entry. You do not need to ask for account deletion merely because you want fewer solicitations.

Preserve services or useful program communication you still need. Do not upload health records, identification documents or payment details with an appeal photo. Copying this draft does not send it or submit a survey; the meaningful evidence is the sender's response identifying the postal choice and record.

Include the actual Easterseals sender

Keep the organization, return address and recipient visible. Open the current policy yourself and choose the postal option for your record.
