Stop Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Mail

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation explicitly includes postal mail in Marketing Choices. Contact info@cff.org or 800-344-4823 and identify the printed name and address. Ask separately about future sharing if you want that changed too.

Use Marketing Choices for paper appeals

The Foundation's current privacy statement names postal mail alongside email and other communications. Its Marketing Choices section gives info@cff.org, 800-344-4823 and a Communications mailing address. The Privacy Officer listing elsewhere serves a different request scope.

Say no postal fundraising mail and supply the recipient and complete address from the piece. If you still want email or program updates, state that. The Foundation also links an email opt-out form, but a message containing only your email does not clearly identify the postal record.

Please stop Cystic Fibrosis Foundation postal marketing and fundraising mail for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. My printed reference, if present, is [reference].

Please also stop future sharing of my personal information with affiliates or unaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing. Please confirm these preferences separately, while keeping any existing gift and necessary administrative messages unchanged.

Necessary messages can remain

The statement says important administrative messages may continue after a marketing opt-out. A response confirming no solicitation is therefore not a promise that every Foundation envelope will stop. Identify what another piece contains before treating it as an ignored preference.

Keep donation changes, clinical-trial inquiries and service requests separate. A narrow mailing request does not require a health history or bank document. If another issue needs attention, use the Foundation's appropriate current support process rather than attaching private records to an appeal photo.

The published commitment is to honor no-solicitation requests as quickly as possible, not a fixed last-delivery date. Save the date and response; if paper marketing continues, ask which address record was changed and whether another record exists.

Future sharing needs a separate instruction

The statement gives the same info@cff.org contact for discontinuing future direct-marketing sharing with affiliates or unaffiliated third parties. Name that request explicitly if it matters to you. A reply about the Foundation's own appeals does not alone answer the sharing question.

A browser privacy signal applies to the browser or device and an associated profile. The Foundation directs offline preferences to its contact route. Closing a cookie banner or enabling a browser signal is not confirmation that a postal mailing record was suppressed.

Use the current notice, not the archived version

The current statement links a prior version separately. For contact and preference instructions, use the current page. Keep a copy of the option requested rather than relying on an old search excerpt or another organization's similarly named policy.

If you act for someone else, explain your role and follow the Foundation's own verification instructions. Do not claim authorization merely because mail arrives at your home. Copying this request does not send it, submit a privacy request or confirm removal.

Save the appeal label, not health records

Keep the sender and postal record readable. Make the Marketing Choices request yourself and retain the Foundation's response.
