Fit a paper-mail request into a contact form
Online contact forms are built for digital questions and may have no postal-mail category. You can still send a clear request by picking the closest subject and putting your full mailing address in the message.
How to use a contact form
- Look through the form's subject menu and choose the closest option, such as marketing preferences, unsubscribe, or other. Note which one you picked.
- In the message, give your name and address as printed on the label, and start with the request: "Please remove the above postal address from your mailing list."
- Say the request is for postal mail so it is not treated as an email unsubscribe.
- Before closing the page, save a screenshot or copy of the completed form and the confirmation.
Subject menus and routing
The category you select can decide which team receives your message. If none fits, "other" with a clear message is better than a poor match. Some senders reply by email, so watch for a response that shows the request arrived.
Watch for an acknowledgment
Many forms send an automated reply to the email address you entered. If none arrives within a day, check your spam folder, then try another contact route. Our guide at the comparison of postal opt-out options lists postal and phone options.
