Request less catalog mail without a customer number

Some catalog labels print a customer number that links the piece to an account. If you have never ordered from the company, there may be no number on yours. Your name and address can still identify you.

How to request removal without a customer number

  1. Find the sender name and full recipient label. Include every printed code in the photo without trying to invent a missing customer number.
  2. Review the sender details prepared from the photo. If they do not match, contact support before submitting.
  3. For a direct request, quote the name and address exactly as printed and say that no customer number appears.
  4. If the sender requires an ID, ask what other information it accepts to locate the mailing record.

If the sender wants an account number

A form may ask for information that your catalog does not supply. Leave an optional field blank, or ask the sender for another route if the field is required. Do not use an unrelated account number to get past validation. Keep a photo of the label so the sender can see the actual information available.

If catalogs keep arriving

Give the sender a reasonable amount of time to update its mailing schedule before following up. For more on catalog options, see stop catalogs in the mail guide, and for help with a request, contact Junk Mail Magic support.
