Share a sender-form screenshot without exposing a label

When asking about an error, share the message and the part of the screen that shows it. Make a separate redacted copy if a screenshot includes a mailing label you do not need the recipient to see.

Prepare the screenshot before sharing

  1. Use your device's photo editor or markup tool to draw a solid block over your name and mailing address before you attach the screenshot to anything.
  2. Leave the error message, form field names, and any reference numbers visible, since those are what support needs.
  3. Crop the image to the part of the screen that shows the problem, which also removes unrelated personal details elsewhere on the screen.
  4. Zoom in on the finished image and confirm the address is fully covered and no characters show at the edges of the block.

Why this matters even in a private message

A public post should not expose a home address, customer code or another person's mail. A private support request may need different details, so check what support asked for. Keep the original image private and redact a copy. Open the saved copy to verify that the covered text cannot be read before sending it.

Send the edited screenshot

Attach the edited image to your message at Junk Mail Magic support and describe in plain words what you were doing when the problem appeared.
