Read the label on a folded self-mailer
A folded self-mailer is a single printed sheet that folds and seals without an envelope. Your mailing label is usually on an outside panel. Find it before you unfold the piece so you do not lose any printed detail.
How to locate and photograph the label
- Find the panel with the complete recipient label and check whether it also names the sender.
- If it does, photograph that panel with the sender and label fully visible.
- If the sender is inside, unfold the ordinary advertisement you are authorized to handle and check whether both panels can lie together in one frame.
- If the required information cannot fit in one readable photo, ask support before submitting or use the sender's published removal contact.
Mail that is not yours
Fold lines can hide part of a name, apartment number or customer code. Flatten the relevant panels gently and check the result in the saved photo. Avoid tearing through a label while opening the piece. Keep unrelated inserts outside the frame so the photograph clearly represents this one mailing.
If the brand is hard to read
Some self-mailers print the return address in light ink or small type. Try a brighter spot and a plain, dark background behind the piece. If the sender is still unclear after your best photo, contact support at Junk Mail Magic support before submitting so the request is tied to the right company.
