Compare duplicate copies of the same catalog

Two copies of the same catalog can arrive with slightly different labels, such as a misspelled name or a different apartment number. Compare both before you ask the sender to change anything, so you do not remove the version you want to keep.

How to sort out duplicate catalogs

  1. Set the two catalogs side by side and compare the name, street address and apartment or suite on each label.
  2. Decide which copy you want to stop, or whether you want both to stop.
  3. Photograph the label of the copy you want removed, with the sender's name and your address readable.
  4. Submit that photo through Junk Mail Magic, review the details and sign in. If you want both copies to stop, submit a separate photo for each label.

When both copies should stop

A recipient error on a mail label, such as a misspelled name or a wrong apartment number, affects how the sender matches the label to its record. It does not change who the sender is. Because the two labels differ, a single request may match only one of them. If copies keep arriving after a request, contact support with both labels in hand. Terms are at the pricing page and help is at Junk Mail Magic support.

A practical next step

Keep both catalogs until you have seen the result for each label. If only one copy stops, photograph the other label and submit it as its own request.

Photograph one piece you are authorized to handle, with the sender and full mailing label visible. Review the details before submitting. The first request is free; the sender controls the response.
