Reduce camp brochures after choosing a program
Ask the camps you did not choose to stop sending brochures. Ask the camp you chose to stop only next-season sales mail. Registration, health and safety messages from that camp should keep coming, so name the kind of mail you want to end.
Separate sales mail from enrollment mail
- Make two piles. One holds brochures from camps you passed on. The other holds forms, schedules and packing lists from the camp you chose.
- For each camp you passed on, use its official contact page or mailing-preferences option to ask it to stop printed brochures.
- For the chosen camp, send a narrower request. Ask it to stop promotional mail for next season and keep sending everything tied to current enrollment.
- Use the parent's name and address as printed on the brochure. Leave out the child's birth date, medical details and identity documents.
- Write down the date and any reply for each camp.
When one list carries everything
A camp may send sales and enrollment mail from the same list. If it does, a broad stop request could cut off messages you need. Ask whether it can separate the two before you agree to any change.
Health forms and medical questions go through the camp's enrollment contact, not a marketing request.

Example for your own use. Replace the bracketed details and review what you share.
Check the chosen camp's reply
When the chosen camp replies, check that it says enrollment and safety messages will continue. If the reply is unclear, ask which contact or preference controls each type of mail before you change anything else.
