How to Stop Talbots Catalogs

Talbots prints the catalog opt-out instructions on its catalog. Call its published customer-service number to stop future catalogs or ask for fewer, with the mailing label in front of you.

Call the catalog customer-service number

The back cover of Talbots's February 2026 catalog tells readers to call 1-800-825-2687 to opt out of future catalogs or receive fewer. This is a catalog instruction, not an email-only unsubscribe.

Decide which outcome you want before calling. “Please stop all paper catalogs” is clearer than “Please reduce the mail” if you want none. If you would still like occasional copies, ask which mailing schedule Talbots can record and whether it applies to all your catalog records.

Read the customer number and mail code

The catalog label has spaces for a customer number and mail code. Keep both available, together with the exact printed recipient and delivery address. A code can help explain which copy you mean; it does not replace a clear request about the paper-mail preference.

If you receive two copies, compare their codes and names. Show the distinction to customer service rather than assuming one record represents the entire household. Do not give somebody else's account details just because their catalog reached your address.

Use this wording as a call note. Replace the brackets with your own label details, and omit any code that is not printed:

Please stop Talbots paper catalogs sent to [printed recipient and complete address]. The customer number is [number] and the mail code is [code].

Please confirm the catalog preference and which mailing records it covers. I want to keep my shopping account and existing orders unchanged.

Ask for the postal processing window

The cited back-cover instruction does not provide a catalog-removal deadline. Ask the representative when to expect the change and record that answer with the call date. Do not substitute a delivery estimate for a purchased item as the mailing-list processing time.

Retain any reference number or confirmation the representative supplies. If another catalog arrives after the window they gave you, reference the earlier request and read the new label. Ask whether the same record was used or a second record needs attention.

A catalog opt-out is not a credit-card change

Keep a paper-marketing request separate from a Talbots credit-card bill, rewards issue, return or order cancellation. Do not attach financial documents to explain that you receive too many catalogs. Resolve an actual account issue through the relevant authenticated support service.

An email footer unsubscribe concerns that email channel. If you want both promotional email and printed catalogs stopped, request both changes explicitly rather than treating one confirmation as proof of the other.

If the label says “Current Resident” or names someone who moved, describe it accurately. Our Current Resident guide and previous-resident guide explain why a delivery label is not permission to sign into another person's shopping account.

Keep the catalog label, not the whole pile

Talbots publishes a direct phone route above. For a different unwanted mailer, we can identify the sender from a clear photo and prepare the request. Your first request is free.
