How to Stop SiriusXM Junk Mail
SiriusXM gives subscribers an online direct-mail preference and accepts written requests from people without an account. Its current privacy policy says the postal marketing opt-out must be renewed every three years.
For current or former SiriusXM subscribers
- Sign in to the SiriusXM Online Account Center.
- Open Manage My Account, then Account Info.
- Choose Contact Preferences and turn off direct-mail marketing.
- Select Save Preferences before leaving the page.
These are the steps in SiriusXM's current contact-preferences guide. The same area can manage phone, mail, email, and billing-reminder settings, but each channel has its own preference.
If you do not have a SiriusXM account
Send a written request with the recipient name, mailing address, contact details, and a clear instruction to stop SiriusXM marketing mail. SiriusXM publishes this address:
Sirius XM Radio LLCDo Not Contact Preference Compliance Manager
PO Box 33174
Detroit, MI 48232
Copy the name and address exactly as printed on the unwanted piece. Include a customer or offer number only if it is visible and does not expose sensitive account information.
Renew the request every three years
SiriusXM's privacy policy says a direct-mail marketing opt-out must be renewed every three years. Record the date and route used so you know when to repeat it.
Keep the scope precise: ask to stop direct-mail marketing. This is not a subscription cancellation request, a billing dispute, or a request to remove a radio from a vehicle.
Why some SiriusXM mail may continue
- It concerns an account or subscription. SiriusXM says renewals, administrative notices, service announcements, and legally required communications may still arrive by mail.
- The request expired. The company requires renewal after three years.
- The label points to another record. A different recipient spelling, former address, email, phone number, or vehicle may be attached to a separate profile.
- The sender is a dealer or manufacturer. A car company or dealership may use its own marketing list even when the piece promotes SiriusXM.
Do not confuse postal mail with other preferences
Turning off direct mail does not automatically stop marketing calls, emails, or text messages. SiriusXM's help page provides separate instructions for each channel. It also says non-solicitation contact may continue for service and account matters.
Where Junk Mail Magic fits
Use the account preference when you can sign in. If you cannot identify the record or sender behind a paper offer, photograph the mailer so Junk Mail Magic can prepare a sender-specific request. Do not submit a bill, payment slip, account password, full vehicle identification number, or other sensitive account document.
Have the mailer in front of you?
Photograph one piece of unwanted mail. We identify the sender and prepare the removal request. Your first request is free.
