How to Stop Save the Children Mail

For Save the Children U.S. paper marketing, contact Supporter Care at supportercare@savechildren.org or 1-800-728-3843. Say postal appeals and include the actual mailing label, not just an email unsubscribe.

Make the marketing opt-out about paper mail

The U.S. privacy policy permits requests not to receive marketing messages through its contact methods. Its Team Tomorrow FAQ publishes supportercare@savechildren.org and 1-800-728-3843 for the Supporter Experience Center.

The email address uses savechildren.org, not the longer website domain. Use the published address and describe the printed piece. A short request with a complete street address is more useful for a paper record than an inbox unsubscribe containing no postal information.

Please stop Save the Children U.S. postal marketing and fundraising appeals for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. My printed donor reference, if present, is [reference].

Please confirm the postal preference recorded. I am not requesting a change to my Team Tomorrow contribution or other existing gift. Please retain necessary donation receipts and account notices.

Team Tomorrow is a giving program, not a mail setting

The FAQ covers changes to contribution schedules and payment information as separate Supporter Experience Center tasks. Asking for no appeals does not clearly request a donation cancellation. Keep the two decisions separate so a representative knows what should remain in place.

If you still give, distinguish appeals from messages needed to maintain your gift or access receipts. If you also want to cancel a contribution, ask for that separately and verify the cancellation itself. A postal opt-out acknowledgment is not evidence that future payments were cancelled.

Do not email a card number or payment statement to explain unwanted mail. A printed donor reference and recipient label are relevant to identifying a mailing; banking information is not a substitute for those details.

Browser privacy choices are not postal instructions

The policy distinguishes marketing opt-outs from Your Privacy Choices. It says an unsigned-in sale/targeted-advertising choice can be linked only to the browser identifier. Do not assume that changing a cookie preference has identified your household's mailing record.

If address sharing is also a concern, ask Supporter Care what prospective sharing preference it can record for the named postal address. Keep that question separate from stopping the organization's own appeals. This guide does not claim a dedicated paper-mail checkbox in the browser privacy control.

Use the U.S. sender and retain a specific response

These sources concern Save the Children Federation, Inc. in the United States. Read the envelope before using them for a mailing from another national organization. Similar logos do not establish that one country's support team manages another country's donor list.

If more mail arrives, compare the name, unit and reference with your original request. Ask whether the piece came from an already-prepared appeal or a different record. The cited marketing instruction does not publish a fixed paper-mail stop date. Save a response that identifies the postal change, rather than treating a generic received-message notice as removal proof.

Keep the Save the Children label clear

Photograph the sender and complete recipient address. Make the Supporter Care request yourself and ask it to confirm the postal preference.
