How to Stop Samaritan's Purse Paper Mail

Samaritan's Purse directs marketing-mail opt-outs to its contact form. Choose the unsubscribe topic and specify paper mail; an email-only choice is a different request.

Choose the unsubscribe topic, not donation changes

The privacy notice directs mail and email preferences to the official contact form. Its current first menu includes "Unsubscribe from mail or email." Account, volunteer, project and donation questions are separate topics.

The form defines mail, email and both-channel choices. If the problem is your physical mailbox, choose the mail option rather than an email-only one. Conditional fields can change with the selected topic, so review the form you actually see before sending.

Opening the page or choosing a topic is not a completed request. Retain the confirmation from your own submission and check whether a later reply describes the paper preference, not just an email subscription.

Describe the printed recipient

Use the name, complete postal address and unit number from your appeal. Mention any printed reference that could help identify it, but do not mistake a campaign title for a unique donor record. If two spellings receive mail, identify each one.

Please stop Samaritan's Purse postal fundraising mail for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code].

Please leave recurring gifts, volunteer arrangements and necessary receipts unchanged. Please confirm that the request covers paper mail and tell me what allowance applies to mail already prepared.

If you want email stopped as well, state both channels and choose the matching form option. If you only want paper appeals stopped, do not use broad wording that could also affect updates you still want to receive.

Do not confuse mailing preferences with privacy-rights forms

The notice says Samaritan's Purse does not sell, rent or exchange donor lists. Do not assume that every charity uses list exchanges or that you need to request a sharing change before stopping this sender's own mail.

Its data-rights and advertising choices serve different purposes. A browser privacy signal does not identify the postal label you want removed. For a paper appeal, start with the published contact-form topic rather than requesting deletion of every record connected with a donation or volunteer role.

If the form will not complete

The contact page includes human verification. Complete it yourself if the form asks; do not use a third-party challenge-solving service. If the form fails, return to the official page's contact guidance rather than sending your address to an inbox inferred from the domain.

The notice does not give a fixed paper-mail processing deadline. Ask for one in the response and keep a recent label if mail continues beyond that allowance. Match the affiliate and country printed on the envelope; the linked contact is the U.S.-headquartered organization's route, not proof that every international affiliate shares one donor record. Copying this wording does not submit it.
