Stop Regions Bank Postal Marketing

Regions explicitly includes postal mail in its direct-marketing preference. Call its published banker contact or visit a branch and ask for that choice. The separate information-sharing menu is not the same request.

Ask the banker for the postal choice

The Regions Privacy Pledge lists 800-734-4667 to limit direct marketing. A Regions branch or your assigned financial advisor is also an option. The policy names email, postal mail and telephone marketing, while allowing necessary account-service contact to continue.

Say which channels you want changed. If your concern is paper promotions, ask for postal marketing to be limited without making an unintended instruction about calls or email. Have the printed recipient, complete street address and mailing date ready so the banker can identify the unwanted record.

Sharing uses a different number

Regions publishes 800-240-2948 for its information-sharing choices, with an automated menu. Those choices concern eligible affiliate sharing and marketing. They are not evidence that the bank's own postal preference changed.

The pledge's table says some sharing cannot be limited. Read the direct-marketing section as a separate instruction rather than concluding that paper promotions cannot be addressed. For a joint account, the sharing choice applies individually unless you tell Regions otherwise; ask whose record a particular change covers.

A short request to read or adapt

Use this wording with the published banker contact or at a branch. Keep the optional sharing sentence only if you want that separate change explained too.

Please limit Regions postal marketing addressed to [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The unwanted piece is dated [date] and shows [mailing code, if present]. Please confirm which postal record you updated. I want required account-service communications to continue. Separately, please explain the eligible information-sharing choices and whose record each choice covers before making those changes. Thank you.

Save the details of your request

Write down the date, the name of the team you spoke with and any confirmation or reference they provide. If two household members receive offers, identify both labels and ask whether each needs its own request. Do not assume one conversation suppressed an entire address.

If another advertisement arrives, compare its recipient spelling and mailing code with your notes. Ask whether the piece was prepared earlier or uses a different record. The policy does not supply a last-delivery date, so use the banker's actual explanation rather than a deadline borrowed from another sender.

Do not discard account mail as advertising

Read statements, security messages and required notices before deciding they are promotional. A paper-marketing preference is not an account closure or a dispute of a bill. Use your trusted account contact for those matters and keep sensitive financial pages out of photo requests.

If an offer contains a prescreen notice, use the related credit-offer guide for the separate credit-bureau process. A Regions request is not a universal block on other banks, insurers or advertisers. Keep each sender's reply attached to the corresponding label.

Identify the Regions advertisement

Keep the exact label for a request you make yourself through Regions. Photograph only ordinary marketing if you need sender-identification help, not statements, account numbers or required notices.
