How to Stop Huntington Promotional Mail
Huntington offers a phone choice for postal promotions. Its notice also says promotional inserts can remain in account mailings, so an opt-out is not a promise to remove every advertisement from a statement.
Call for the promotional-mail preference
Under Additional Information Collection and Use Disclosures, the Huntington Consumer Privacy Notice publishes 1-800-537-0861 for preferences about promotional offers by telephone or mail.
Choose the mail preference or ask the representative to identify it. The same notice discusses sharing and do-not-call choices; changing one of those alone does not establish that postal promotions were selected.
Use the unwanted piece to identify the recipient and delivery address. If the envelope shows a former address or a different spelling, say so. Ask which record was changed and keep the date and any confirmation rather than assuming the account's saved address is the only marketing record.
Account inserts can still arrive
Huntington says account statements and notices continue after the promotional choice. It may also include offers in those account mailings. A statement containing an advertisement does not necessarily show that the standalone postal preference was ignored.
Separate a new advertising envelope from an insert in an account document before following up. Keep required notices, review the account information, and describe the type of mailing accurately. Do not request blanket suppression of everything sent by the bank just to stop the insert.
Former Cadence customers: use the current date-specific route
The current notice directs former Cadence Bank customers to the number ending in 0861 from June 22, 2026 onward. Its other number applies to the earlier transition period. Do not copy the expired date-specific route from an older notice.
The notice separately lists a Linscomb Wealth contact. If that business, an insurance agency or another affiliate sent the piece, ask which applicable preference covers it. A shared corporate family does not by itself confirm that all recipient records were changed.
Email and website ads use different choices
Huntington's email subscription page changes product and service emails. Its Your Privacy Choices page concerns sharing through cookies for cross-context advertising. Neither page describes its control as paper-mail removal.
A broader data-rights request is different again. If the immediate problem is promotional envelopes, start with the published mail choice. Avoid submitting extra identity information to an unrelated form simply because its title contains privacy.
Prescreened offers and private documents need care
For a credit-bureau prescreened promotion, follow the credit-offer guide. Keep that request separate from Huntington's own marketing preference. The cited postal section does not promise a fixed delivery cutoff.
Use authenticated bank support for identity checks and account questions. Never upload a completed privacy form, statement, check, Social Security number, full account number, password or identity document to Junk Mail Magic. Marketing removal does not close an account or change an obligation to read important notices.
