Stop Fisher House's Printed Patriot Magazine
Fisher House Foundation publishes donations@fisherhouse.org and 888-294-8560 for stopping its printed magazine, The Patriot. This is a free publication preference, not cancellation of a paid magazine subscription or an instruction to change a donation.
Contact the Foundation about the printed magazine
The Fisher House privacy policy names donations@fisherhouse.org and 888-294-8560 if you no longer want its print magazine. State The Patriot and paper delivery explicitly.
Supply the recipient and postal address on the issue. If a code appears on the label, include it as a way to identify that copy. Do not send payment information or medical records to explain why you want less paper.
The magazine signup is not a removal form
The official Patriot magazine page offers Magazine & Email, Email Only and Magazine Only subscription choices. Those are enrollment options. Do not submit the signup again as a way to unsubscribe the existing postal record.
That page also provides a digital issue. You can read the publication online without keeping paper delivery, but opening the digital copy does not update your mailing preference. Make the removal request through the published donations contact.
A draft for stopping the print copy
Replace the brackets with the address on The Patriot. If you also want appeals stopped, add that as a separate question rather than assuming magazine removal covers every mailing.
Please stop delivery of Fisher House Foundation's printed Patriot magazine to [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The issue label shows [mailing code, if present]. Please keep my donation arrangements and necessary acknowledgments unchanged. I would like [keep or stop] email updates separately. Please confirm which print-magazine record was removed and whether another issue is already prepared. Thank you.
Keep recognition and receipts as separate decisions
The policy discusses donor acknowledgments, public recognition and magazine delivery as different uses of contact information. Asking for anonymity does not necessarily tell circulation to stop an issue. Name each preference you want changed.
Likewise, a donation receipt is not the same as an unsolicited magazine. If you need acknowledgments for your records, say so in the request. There is no reason to ask for a refund simply to remove a complimentary print copy.
Check duplicate copies and later issues
The publication is issued twice a year. Ask the team whether the next issue's address file is already prepared instead of expecting paper delivery to stop as quickly as an email unsubscribe. The policy does not give a guaranteed final-issue date.
For two copies at one home, compare the recipient spelling and mailing codes. Give both labels to the team and identify which copies are unwanted. Keep its response until the next mailing cycle so a follow-up can reference the confirmed record rather than start with the cover title alone.
Keep The Patriot title and mailing label together
Use that label when asking Fisher House yourself to remove the printed publication record.
