How to Stop Chico's, Soma and WHBM Mail

Chico's, Soma and White House Black Market are covered by the same cited privacy policy. It distinguishes direct-mail marketing from email and from sharing information with other brands or companies. Name both the brand and postal address you want changed.

Read Your Choices before using an email link

The Your Choices section of Chico's privacy policy names commercial email or direct-mail marketing from its brands, affiliate marketing sharing, and unaffiliated-company sharing as separate choices. Its scope includes Chico's, Soma and White House Black Market.

The Preference Center link on the policy currently points to a section within that same page. It is not a separately verified postal-address form. If it does not give you a usable paper-mail choice, ask the policy's published customer-service contact, customerservice@chicos.com, for help with the specific brand and address.

List the brands that actually mailed you

Read the cover and return address. White House Black Market may be abbreviated WHBM, but use the full name in your request if that is the sender. Include Soma separately if you also received its mail. A shared policy does not prove one request suppresses every brand's record.

Please help stop [Chico's, Soma and/or White House Black Market: name the actual sender] promotional paper mail for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code]. The mailing reference is [code, if present].

Please confirm the brands and postal records covered, or direct me to their current paper-mail preference route. This is not an email-only unsubscribe, rewards cancellation or account-deletion request.

Delete the brands you have not received and omit the code when absent. Copying the wording does not submit a preference. Send the completed message privately through the company's contact, not in a review of a local store.

Address sharing is another decision

The policy lets you distinguish sharing with affiliated brands from sharing with unaffiliated marketers. If you want those changes too, add them as separate requests rather than assuming a catalog opt-out includes both.

Keep an inventory of which cover came from which sender. A sharing preference at this company is not confirmation that another retailer has removed an address it already holds. Contact the sender on that later piece using its own instructions.

Preserve rewards and necessary messages

Keep the request about postal advertising if you still use a shopping or rewards account. An email-only unsubscribe is not evidence of a paper-mail change; a cookie toggle is not a catalog-address removal receipt.

The cited postal-choice instructions do not state a final delivery date. Keep the response and ask what it covers. If it says only that email was stopped, clarify the printed-mail request. If another brand or label arrives, send those identifying details rather than repeatedly submitting the same ambiguous request.
