Stop Arthritis Foundation Mailing-List Sharing

The Arthritis Foundation publishes arthritisfoundation@arthritis.org for opting out of information sharing with other nonprofit organizations. This is a sharing request, not a published universal unsubscribe from the Foundation's own paper mail.

Use the published nonprofit-sharing contact

The Foundation's privacy notice gives arthritisfoundation@arthritis.org for opting out of information sharing with other nonprofits for their promotional or other purposes. State that choice explicitly and identify your printed record if the issue began with paper mail.

The notice describes limited use of names and addresses through mailing agents. It does not mean every later health-charity appeal came from the Foundation. Identify the actual outside sender and keep its label if you also want that sender to stop its own mail.

Please opt [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code] out of Arthritis Foundation information sharing with other nonprofit organizations for their promotional or other purposes.

Please confirm the sharing preference and record changed. Separately, I would like to know how to stop the Foundation's own postal fundraising appeals without changing an existing donation or other necessary communications.

Ask separately about the Foundation's own paper mail

The published sharing instruction concerns other organizations. It does not by itself establish a dedicated postal-removal form for the Foundation's own appeals. If those are unwanted too, add that as a separate question and ask for the appropriate postal preference.

Keep your desired outcomes distinct: no future sharing, no paper appeals, or both. A response confirming only the first should not be recorded as proof of the second. If you give regularly, keep payment instructions and mailing instructions separate.

A gift receipt, event confirmation or program document may have a different purpose from an appeal. Describe what you received instead of requesting the deletion of every record. Do not include medical histories or donation payment details to explain a mailing label.

The Email Preference Form has a different scope

The notice links an Email Preference Form for promotional and fundraising communications. The current email form asks for email and other contact details, but it is not a verified street-address postal-removal control. Its name is not evidence that a paper mailing was suppressed.

Use the email route if inbox messages are the issue. For paper, identify the printed address through the published contact and ask for a specific reply. Do not assume that changing a browser advertising preference or an email category updates a donor mailing record.

Keep the sharing reply and repeat-mail evidence

Save the date and wording of your request. Future-sharing suppression does not prove that an outside organization deleted an address it already holds. If that organization sends another appeal, use its own current route and record the response separately.

Compare names and address variations before following up with the Foundation. The notice does not publish a fixed last-delivery date for paper appeals. Copying this draft neither sends it nor confirms any preference, and this guide does not replace the Foundation's own privacy notice.

Keep the actual sender identifiable

Save the organization and mailing label. Make the sharing request yourself and ask separately about any Foundation paper appeals you want stopped.
