Count repeat senders before choosing requests
Count the advertising that actually reaches your mailbox over a period you choose. Use the tally to decide which sender to contact first, then keep the same categories for your next count.
Counting senders in four steps
- Choose a period, such as two weeks, and record one tally mark beside each sender whenever its advertising arrives.
- Add the counts and compare similar company names before treating them as the same sender.
- Choose the sender you most want to stop, using frequency and your own preference as the starting point.
- Keep the dated tally so your next count can use the same period length and distinguish changed labels.
Telling sender names apart
A company can mail under one name on the label and another on the catalog cover, which can split a single sender into two tally entries. Record the name on the mailing label and note the cover brand beside it. If the label name matches no brand you recognize, ask support at Junk Mail Magic support whether the sender can be identified from your photo.
Using the tally later
After your first submissions, keep counting for a few more weeks. The change at the top of your list shows what has slowed down and what has not.

Have an unwanted advertisement ready?
Photograph one piece you are authorized to handle, with the sender and full mailing label visible. Review the details before submitting. The first request is free; the sender controls the response.
