Ask to restore a paper publication you miss

If you stopped a paper newsletter or catalog and want it again, contact that publisher. Each publication keeps its own record, so a request for one does not bring back the others.

How to restore a paper publication

  1. Identify the publisher and the exact publication name, so they can match your request to a record.
  2. Contact the publisher by phone, email, or website. Ask to restart paper delivery, give the mailing address you want used, and ask whether an earlier opt-out has to be undone first.
  3. Ask when delivery will start and whether there is a fee, a subscription, or an account check involved.
  4. Keep the confirmation. If nothing arrives within the time you were given, you can use it to follow up.

What can complicate a restart

An earlier opt-out may have removed your address from a list, and the publisher may need a new subscription record to add it back. The publication may also have changed its schedule or format since you last received it. If it comes through a membership or loyalty program, the request may need to go through that program's member services.

Confirm what the new request covers

When you restart one publication, ask the publisher to confirm that the request covers only that publication. Ask whether related catalogs or partner mailings are included, and say which ones you do or do not want.
