How to Stop Kohl's Promotional Paper Mail

Kohl's lists two ways to request removal from its global marketing mailing lists: a written request to the postal-mail address or a customer-service call.

Use the address listed under Postal Mail

The Postal Mail section of Kohl's privacy policy asks for a request containing your full name and mailing address. Its destination is Kohl's, Inc., PO Box 3120, Milwaukee, WI 53201. The same section also offers Customer Service at 855-564-5705.

Do not confuse that box with P.O. Box 3043, which appears elsewhere in the policy for general contact. When following the specific paper-marketing instruction, use PO Box 3120 or the published phone alternative.

Please remove [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code] from Kohl's global marketing mailing lists for promotional postal mail.

Please confirm the mailing record covered. This is a marketing preference, not a request to close my shopping account or credit card, cancel Rewards or stop required account correspondence.

Copy this into your letter or use it as a call note. Keep a copy of the request and any response. You do not need to send a payment-card number, password or statement to explain which printed promotion you want stopped.

Keep paper marketing separate from other channels

An email footer's unsubscribe link concerns promotional email. Text-message opt-out instructions concern texts. Neither is confirmation that the printed name and home address have been removed from the postal list.

Describe the piece you actually received. A mailed coupon booklet is not the same as a bill or a letter about a credit-card account. If you want electronic statements, handle that through the card account's own statement settings rather than this marketing request.

A privacy-rights request can concern access, deletion or another broader data choice. Do not submit broad deletion just to avoid sale flyers when the policy publishes a narrower postal route. Ask for the marketing change while keeping the shopping services you use.

If someone else in your home receives the offers, use that person's printed details with their permission. Changing your own account profile may not locate a separate label addressed to a partner or an earlier resident.

Ask what the request covered

The postal instruction does not publish a specific final-arrival deadline. Ask customer service about mail already prepared rather than borrowing a response period from a privacy-rights process. Keep the answer with your request date.

When a new piece arrives, compare the name, unit number and any customer reference with the original. If the address differs, include both versions in a follow-up and ask which one is still on the mailing list.

Do not treat another coupon as proof that your card or Rewards account needs to be closed. A useful follow-up identifies the unresolved paper-mail record and cites the previous request. It does not start a new, unrelated account-cancellation process.

Keep one Kohl's mailing label

A readable photo preserves the recipient and address you want removed. Use the published postal or phone process yourself. A paper-marketing preference is not a card cancellation, statement change or Rewards cancellation.
