Data Axle Marketing Opt-Out Guide

Data Axle's marketing services include direct mail. Its current policy points consumer database requests to a privacy form, not just the unsubscribe footer on a corporate email.

Use the current consumer form

The Data Axle privacy policy links to the Consumer Privacy Rights Request form. In its Privacy Choice menu, Request to opt out of sale/sharing is distinct from access, correction, deletion and limiting sensitive information.

The form asks for first and last names, a mailing address, email and phone. Use the address you want matched, including Address Line 2 for an apartment or unit. Read the authorization statement before submitting; it explains that verification may follow.

I want to opt out of Data Axle selling or sharing my marketing data for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code], including data used for direct-mail targeting.

Please explain any verification needed to complete this consumer request and confirm the preference applied. I am not requesting access to another person's information.

This is wording to clarify your intent if you contact the provider, not a claim that its form has a general message box. Complete the fields and choices the official form actually requires. Nothing on this guide submits them for you.

Keep identity checks with the provider

Data Axle's policy says requests can require identity verification, potentially including government identification. If asked, evaluate and complete that step only through the verified provider process. Do not upload identity documents, passwords or a credit report to Junk Mail Magic for this request.

The consumer form is not the authorized-agent form. Use the separate agent process only when you have the required authority. A household address alone does not entitle you to access or delete every resident's records.

Check for a verification message after submission. Save its instructions privately and distinguish the initial receipt from a completed preference. A request waiting for your response is not the same as a provider confirmation.

Do not confuse browser or email choices with the database

Unsubscribing from Data Axle corporate emails addresses those messages. Browser advertising controls are also different from a named consumer request. Use the consumer form when your goal concerns sale or sharing of your marketing record.

A database preference does not prove that every advertiser deleted a list it already holds. For a catalog that continues, contact the named sender directly with the printed label. Keep that request alongside your Data Axle record rather than assuming one replaces the other.

The policy's privacy-response timeframe is not a promised last-mail date. Ask what the completed request covers, keep its date and reference, and use those details if you need to follow up. This guide does not identify which data provider supplied any particular advertisement.

Want one advertiser to stop mailing?

Photograph that advertiser's mailer for a direct sender request. Data Axle's broader data preference and identity verification belong in its own official consumer form.
