How to Stop Costco Mail and Connection Delivery
Costco publishes a promotional-mail preference and a separate instruction for Costco Connection delivery. Choose the one that matches the piece you received; neither is a request to cancel membership.
Stop promotional mail through Costco
The current U.S. and Puerto Rico Your Privacy Rights notice lists several direct-marketing routes: Account, then Preferences on Costco.com; a warehouse Membership counter; Membership Services at 1-800-774-2678; the site's chat; or a written request.
The written route is Customer Service, P. O. Box 34622, Seattle, WA 98124. Make clear that you want promotional postal mail stopped. Changing cookies or only using an email unsubscribe should not be treated as confirmation that your physical address was removed.
Please opt [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code] out of Costco promotional postal mail.
Please keep membership and necessary service notices unchanged. Confirm whether Costco Connection delivery needs a separate preference and how long already-prepared promotional mail may continue.
Use your own account when choosing preferences. If the label names a household or business affiliate member, ask about that person's record with their permission rather than assuming one account change covers everyone.
Stop the mailed Costco Connection
Costco's Connection delivery article directs existing print recipients to Preferences in Account Details to opt out. It says new mailed subscriptions are no longer offered.
If you still want to read it, the article identifies the digital edition at Costco Connection and copies at Costco locations. That is an alternative to home delivery, not a reason to enrol in another print list.
Keep the magazine's label until the preference is resolved. If it names someone different from the person whose account you changed, tell Membership Services which printed recipient is involved. Do not change another member's preference silently.
Stopping the magazine is not turning off Costco membership auto-renewal. A renewal charge, a membership notice and a free publication need different actions. For a paid publication from another seller, use the magazine subscription guide.
Check the sender before escalating
Save the preference date and any support confirmation. If a promotional piece still arrives, compare its recipient and return address with the original rather than assuming the Connection setting covers every Costco-branded envelope.
A bank-issued credit card, travel provider or other business may be responsible for its own communication. Contact the company identified on that piece for its marketing choice; do not cancel a card, trip or membership to stop an advertisement.
No fixed last-delivery date is established by the cited paper-mail instructions. Ask Costco about its current mailing allowance. A support acknowledgement or changed account setting is useful evidence to keep, but it is not a promise that every piece already printed can be recalled.
Identify which Costco mail you received
Photograph a promotional piece if you need help identifying its sender. Change Costco account and magazine preferences yourself, directly with Costco. Junk Mail Magic does not sign into that account or cancel a membership.
