How to Stop Collections Etc. Catalogs
Collections Etc. publishes a postal-marketing opt-out in its help page. That contact is different from the contacts for VIP Rewards and Premier Savings memberships.
Ask customer service to stop postal marketing
Under Opt-Out of Marketing Communications, the Collections Etc. help and FAQ page names csr@collectionsetc.com and 1-800-582-5700 for postal marketing, telemarketing or third-party sharing. Say which of those you want changed.
For a catalog, give the name and full address printed on its label. Your email address may identify an online order but not the postal record that receives the booklet. Include an apartment or suite exactly as printed rather than leaving customer service to infer it.
Please stop Collections Etc. catalogs and promotional postal mail for [name as printed] at [full mailing address, including unit and ZIP code].
Please confirm which postal record was updated. I am requesting a marketing preference only, not cancellation of VIP Rewards, Premier Savings, an auto-refill order or my shopping account.
Copying the template does not send it. Replace the brackets and deliver the request through the published contact. If calling, keep the catalog near you and note the response or case number before recycling the address panel.
Keep sharing and email changes explicit
The help page discusses trading or renting names and mailing addresses to other companies. If you want to stop that use too, add a separate instruction and ask for a separate acknowledgement. Do not rely on the single word unsubscribe to cover every marketing channel.
An email unsubscribe and a text-message STOP response concern their respective channels. Neither alone establishes that a printed catalog record has been suppressed. If you still want electronic offers, make your paper-only preference clear.
Related-company catalogs may have their own printed sender names. Ask customer service what its response covers rather than assuming one Collections Etc. request removes every sister brand or outside company. Keep unresolved senders in your notes for a separate request.
Do not cancel a membership by accident
VIP Rewards and Premier Savings have separate support and cancellation instructions on the FAQ. Those are paid-program choices, not the catalog-removal route. An auto-refill arrangement also needs its own cancellation request if you want deliveries or charges to stop.
Conversely, catalog removal is not evidence that any paid program was cancelled. If both actions matter to you, ask for each one and keep the corresponding confirmations. Do not include a payment-card number in a paper-marketing email.
Check later catalogs against the original request
The postal instruction does not publish a final-arrival deadline. A customer-service email response estimate elsewhere on the page is not a promise that prepared catalogs will stop on that date.
Save your request and any postal-preference reply. If mail continues, compare the next label with the name, unit and address you provided. Follow up about that specific record and the prior conversation; do not publish your home address in an online complaint.
Identify the Collections Etc. catalog
A photo helps preserve its mailing label. Contact Collections Etc. yourself for verification or a membership action. This guide concerns paper promotions, not cancellation of a paid program or a recurring order.
